The Giants find a Safety: Rediscover Mykkele Thompson
Do you know that feeling you get when you rediscover a gift that had been given to you months or even years before? Well, the New York Giants and the fan base is about to relive that feeling when safety Mykkele Thompson takes the field in 2016.
Thompson was selected in the 5th round of the 2015 draft. He suffered a season ending injury when he tore his Achilles tendon four months later during the preseason opener against theCincinnati Bengals.
He will be back this season with something to prove. He could be the missing piece in Steve Spagnuolo‘s defense, solidifying the defensive backfield. Enclosed is his college (Texas) highlight video. The kid can play and is not afraid of contact or doing the dirty work to win.
