Competition in the defensive backfield for NY Giants

The Giants will have an interesting training camp late this summer amongst the defensive backs.  DRC and Landon Collins are penciled in as starters and with the amount of money Jerry Reese paid Jenkins you would have to believe he immediately steps in on the other side recently vacated by Prince Amukamara

Free safety and slot corner will be a dog fight. With the recent additions, via the 2016 draft should make it interesting.   Bennett Jackson who was hurt last season mostly likely will move back to cornerback and challenge the Giants No. 1 pick in the draft, Eli Apple for the slot corner.

Nat Berhe, Mykkele Thompson and Darian Thompson should be all competing top play opposite of Landon Collins.   I would think Nat Berhe has the inside edge on winning that spot, but one never knows until kick off against the Cowboys.

Berhe and Mykkele Thompson are both coming off season ending injuries in 2015.   The NY Giants defense should look, feel and produce much better results in 2016.
