After a two week absence, Rush or Crush returns. This return is coming at the right time as the Giants are coming off a road win vs the Tennessee Titans. For fans, players and coaches, it has felt like ages since the Giants got there last W. Looking ahead to today’s NFC East game vs the last place Redskins, here is what is rushing or crushing with Big Blue.

Rush: This Giants season has been a disaster, but if Giant fans ever want to feel better about themselves, all they have to do is take a look at the opponent today. The Redskins are a complete mess. They will most likely start Colt McCoy at quarterback and are heading for an offseason with tons of question marks. None bigger then what will happen at Quarterback and the future of RG3. Rest well, Giant fans. Our team, quarterback and foundation is in good hands.

Crush: Another poor season has circulated offseason talk and draft position earlier then we would like. Weren’t we just discussing Zach Martin or Eric Ebron? Well get ready for it all again. Before the final game of the season, talk will heat up about our coaching staff and getting the highest draft pick. Let’s not forget that Odell Beckham Jr. was selected at number 12 last year. We will find the best player no matter the position.

Rush: Speaking of good players. How about NFC defensive player of the week, Devon Kennard. The rookie has posted two consecutive two sack games. He looked great throughout preseason and it has carried through late this season. Hope this kid can stay healthy. He will be a key guy in the future.

Crush: DeMontre Moore. I know, he’s young. That’s what we continue to hear about the defensive end out of Texas A&M. The rumors are that he may not be the best practice player yet and has a lot of areas the coaches want to see him clean up. With JPP heading into free agency, Robert Ayers on a one year deal, and Mathias Kiwanuka pretty much done as a Giant–“Da Monster” will have to bring it next season. Curious to see what type of jump he takes.

Stay supportive, Giants fans. It’s been a terrible season full of questionable calls, injuries and frustration. The offense will be better next season with a stud new receive and a hopeful return of Victor Cruz. Although bad, it’s been refreshing to see the team not call out each other or coaches. This team wants Tom Coughlin to be there coach and I don’t see that changing next season. Beat the Skins.
