QB (2)

Eli Manning
Ryan Nassib

-The Giants would love to carry two quarterbacks in an effort to bolster other areas of there roster. They would love the former 4th round pick Nassib to win the backup job.

RB/FB (5)

Rashad Jennings
Andre Williams
Peyton Hillis
Michael Cox
Henry Hynoski

-Jennings and Williams figure to be the 1-2 punch here. While Hillis recovers from a foot + ankle injury, Cox is trying to hang on to a spot. The versatile veteran, Hynoski, should beat out John Connor for the lone full back position.

WR (6)

Victor Cruz
Rueben Randle
Odell Beckham Jr.
Jerrel Jernigan
Corey Washington
Marcus Harris

-This is where things start to get interesting. In the offeseason, return specialist Trindon Holliday and former Giants Superbowl hero Mario Manningham were brought in. Holliday has barely practiced in the preseason and may have lost the kick returning role to Quintin Demps. Manningham has been slow to return to form following knee surgery. He may be battling Marcus Harris, who can be placed on the practice squad. Corey Washington has all but cemented a roster spot with his preseason performance.

TE (3)

Kellen Davis
Larry Donnell
Daniel Fells

-The most talked about position on the Giants roster. Hard to say how this shakes out. The veteran Davis and Fells were brought in the offseason. Missing from this list is Adrien Robinson. His time might be up.

OL (9)

Will Beatty
Geoff Schwartz
J.D. Walton
Brandon Mosley
Justin Pugh
Weston Richburg
John Jerry
Charles Brown
Dallas Reynolds

-Sold Group. Names like Eric Herman and James Brewer could make the back end of this group with a solid showing in the last two preseason games.

Special Teams (3)

Zack DeOssie
Steve Weatherford
Josh Brown

-DeOssie and Weatherford are about as certain to make this team then anyone on the roster. Young kicker with a booming leg, Brandon McManus has kept a live competition with Josh Brown.

Defense

DL (9)

Jason Pierre Paul
DeMontre Moore
Mathias Kiwanuka
Robert Ayers
Cullen Jenkins
Johnathan Hankins
Mike Patterson
Markus Kuhn
Jay Bromley

-The top six players along with 3rd round pick Bromley are definitely making this team. The team loves the veteran Patterson and the injuries that slowed Kuhn are behind him. Undrafted rookie Kelcy Quarles has gotten good reviews from coaches and will fight to get on this roster.

LB (6)

Jameel McClain
Jon Beason
Jacquian Williams
Spencer Paysinger
Devon Kennard
Mark Herzlich

-An Improved group. Beason should be ready to go and the rookie Kennard has been the talk of camp. One mild surprise would be if undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame, Dan Fox, beats out Herzlich for the final spot.

CB (6)

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
Prince Amukamara
Walter Thurmond III
Zack Bowman
Trumaine McBride
Charles James II

-The deepest and most talented position group on the roster. It will be hard for anyone else to beat out in this group. James could be on the bubble but with Hosely’s suspension to start the season, he gets some breathing room.

Safety (4)

Antrel RolleStevie Brown
Quintin Demps
  Nat Berhe

-Rolle and Brown are cemented as the starters while Demps gives the team a three safety look that they like. Rookie Berhe hasn’t flashed yet in preseason games but the coaches love his potential. Cooper Taylor could be a short term IR canditate.
