As bad as the New York Giants offense is year there was always one player you could count on.  No. 80 never failed to compete, make a play and deliver on the promise of playing hard after he got his multi-million dollar contract.

Giants wide receiver, Victor Cruz is one set piece of the Giants future and as of Wednesday December 19th, his team mates and the fans that love to watch him play will have to wait until next year for him to rejoin the team.   What was though to be a sprained knee acquired in the Seattle drubbing was actually much worse after a second look.   World renown orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews executed the surgery.

The injury left Cruz two yards short of his third consecutive 1000 yard receiving seasons. He is expected to make a full recovery.  Cruz will be sorely missed and quarterback Eli Manning is somewhere silently wishing this was all a bad dream.
