The New York Giants continued to clear up cap space this off season, and this time they didn’t have to cut anybody.

Cornerback Corey Webster has reportedly agreed to take a pay cut to stay with the Giants. According to Kimberly Jones, Webster’s salary will be decreased from $7.25 million to $4 million, saving the Giants a little over $3 million.

It’s no secret Webster struggled mightily throughout his 2012 campaign, and was ranked by many as one of the leagues worst cornerbacks last season.

Webster signed a six-year, $44 million contract in 2008 that will expire at the end of next season, and pending a miracle comeback, it’s safe to say Webster’s time is coming to an end in New York.
